Following their teaching careers, they ran an industrial chemical corporation, expanding from a single location to three regional facilities, tripling their annual sales. They sold the business in 1989 and moved to Santa Monica, California to attend Vidal Sasson Academy. Upon completion of the year-long training program, they received their state certifications and purchased a hair and skin-care salon salon in Beverly Hills, which they renovated, expanded and restructured into a franchise operation. Following this, they produced a full-length feature film from concept through completion, placing the product for sales distribution in both the domestic and international markets.
